One and a half inches of Lee

Lee has brought dramatic cumulus clouds of white, purple and warm smokey grays all mixed together with some peeping cerulean sky. Our cloudscapes with tropical storm Lee have been theatrical and quick changing. Today's cloud portrait was taken about 3:30 pm facing east while clouds moved northeast.


Today's backyard rainfall count is 1.5 inches. We had masses of thunderclouds which dropped buckets of rain then cleared away. Sunshine broke out and more clouds moved in and the cycle repeated. 


This may be the last rainy day of Lee. Tomorrow and the next few days are predicted to be merely cloudy. A great forecast for me!
