Here are some vague cumulus clouds glowing by dawn's early light in a cobalt blue sky. This is a sooty pink glow, sort of tawdry, like a forgotten silk stocking cast off and crumpled from revels of the previous night. They were the early clouds to a morning that is now full of clouds with no blue sky visible.
The day is to be cool (42 degrees F) and the night cold (29) with no precipitation. So, just a gray day that is perfect for drinking tea, wrapping Christmas presents, reading and singing carols.
