Not dull at Dulles

Huge cumulus clouds over Dulles International Airport on September 29th. This watercolor, painted about 4:10 pm and facing southeast, was created without brushes! Why? Because I forgot to bring a brush, of course!


I tore up and tightly rolled paper towels and used one of my makeshift brushes per color. When I returned home, I touched it up with a real brush.
