Sad day

This day has been filled with reminders of the terrorist attacks ten years ago. It was a busy day of sunshine, crystalline blue skies and crisp white clouds. A peaceful backdrop for remembering a sad event.


This cloud landscape was painted facing east at about 4:30 pm. The sky was cool and clear except for these low-lying cumulus clouds just above the horizon. One can feel fall in the air.
